In April of 2009 my partner gifted me with a 1978 Argosy 28 foot motorhome.  The Argosy was a brand that was produced by the venerable Airstream Corporation in an effort to create a lower price point and afford them the opportunity to experiment with different designs and materials.  The Argosy Motorhome was produced from 1975 through 1979 at which point Airstream took the design and began producing an Airstream branded motorhome.  The Argosy motorhome was produced in four models with various configurations, but ours is the 28 foot rear bath model. It is all original inside with orange corduroy fabrics, orange formica countertops and faux wood grain cabinetry.  It is quite a lovely beast.
